Along with land conservation that preserves critical wildlife habitat, scenic vistas, and working agricultural landscapes, Yampa Valley Land Trust has worked to expand public access opportunities for residents and visitors to Northwest Colorado.

This includes:
-New land and trails at Emerald Mountain and Howelsen Hill
-Chuck Lewis State Wildlife Area
-Yampa River access points in collaboration with the City of Steamboat Springs
-Scheduled events at the Legacy Ranch and YVLT’s Rehder Ranch Nature Preserve
